  6. A.  Recomended setup for Macintosh

  8. 1.  If you do not have Quicktime, double click the "QuickTime Installer" icon.  This will automatically install Quicktime 2.1.
  9.  
  10. 2.  Turn off Vitual Memory. 
  11.  
  12. 3.  Disable "Ram Doubler" or any other memory enhancement software.
  13.  
  14. 4.  Be sure that your computer has at least six megabytes of available RAM.   (This means that you should have eight or more megabytes of memory istalled on your computer.)  The more memory your computer has available, the better Trouble & Attitude will perform.  For optimum performance, restart your computer and run no other programs while running Trouble & Attitude.  This will make as much memory as possible available to Trouble & Attitude.

  18. 1.  For Power PC Macs, double-click on the Attitude 4th Issue (PPC) Icon

  22. C.  Problems

  24. 1.  If Trouble & Attitude fails to run, or runs slowly or in an erratic manner, try cleaning the disk with a lint free cloth, with a straight motion from the center to the outside of the disk.  Many problems can be due to a fingerprint or some other foreign material on the surface of the CD. Data CDs are more prone to this problem than Audio CDs.

  26. 2.  Video Problems

  28. If you press on a VIDEO button and nothing happens, or the screen changes for a split second, then QuickTime is not installed on your computer.

  30. To install QuickTime from the CD-ROM onto your computer, see Section A ("Recommended Setup for Macintosh") Number 1 above.

  32. At least a double speed (2X) CD-ROM drive is required for proper movie playback.

  34. 3.  Sound and Speed (performance) Problems
  35.  
  36. A.  More than likely, this is a memory problem.  See Section A ("Recommended Setup for Macintosh") Number 5 above.  Restarting your computer and running no other programs while you're running Trouble & Attitude will maximize its performance.

  38. B.  Changing your monitor color depth in the 'Monitors' Control Panel to 256 colors rather than "Thousands" or "Millions" may also speed things up.  However, this will diminish picture quality.

  40. 4.  Trouble and Attitude has been tested using the current version of Macintosh System Software, you might encounter problems running Trouble and Attitude on older versions of the System Software.
